Week 16

First proper week back in life this week, so back to work, kids are back in clubs etc…. It’s amazing how quicky we slip back into our routines, even after a couple of weeks out.

Be really pleased if someone could please please please put my OCD to rest and drop into https://medium.com/@dave.floyd/the-fifth-week-34c9500015a2 just to tip it over the edge to 100 visits.

We finally got our ITT document out to the framework vendors, so imagine there’s be a lot of clarification responses over the next couple of weeks then it’ll be all hands to evaluate.

Also, had a very productive work from home day today (Friday — incase I post this over the weekend) manged to get through a lot of the project admin stuff that dissappears into the ether when at the office like updating RAID logs, plans, Business Cases etc… Again taking a lead out of The New Work Manifesto and setting aside some do not disturb time to just plough through some overdue piecemeal tasks.

Lovely to catch up with a couple of folk this week, first up Zoe Vince or CSHR. Zoe leads the tech in HR and she’s been doing soem really great work on HR services for Civil Servants this past year. Brillaitn to see a user driven appraoch to HR is beign adopted and the output of the near 9 month Discovery they're undertaken, with 100’s of users is a sight to behold. Shoudl eb coming into the public domain soon so keep an eye out.

Genuinely it’s been a good week this one, not sure there’s anything where I’ve thought ‘if only…’. Here’s to more of those.
