WHERE DOES SERVERLESS ARCHITECTURE FIT IN?

Managing an architecture becomes increasingly difficult as enterprises and their technological ecosystems grow. Software development teams devote their time and resources to applications and development rather than becoming experts at managing the platform. One of the emerging ways for dealing with this problem is serverless architecture.

Previously, the term “serverless” was used to describe programmes that used third-party cloud-hosted services and applications to manage server-side logic and state. Serverless apps are those in which the app developers write the server-side functionality themselves. Despite this, applications run in stateless compute containers that are triggered by events and maintained by a third party, rather as in traditional architecture.

The term “serverless architecture” refers to a software design concept in which applications are hosted by a third party, eliminating the necessity for provisioning, administering, and scaling databases and servers. Businesses can use third-party services to execute their software applications instead of buying virtual or physical servers in this fashion.

There are numerous cloud providers, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure (Azure), that handle the difficulties of server management, computation, programming, and resource allocation.

Serverless architecture is thought to be appropriate for achieving business objectives such as resource allocation automation, flexible work environments, faster response times, and scalability.

Create real-time and latency apps, such as multimedia apps, to execute memory allocation and complex data processing automatically.

Create safe client delivery dispatch systems that can dynamically resize.

Serve unpredictably high workloads for difficult scalability and rapidly changing developmental requirements.

Optimize multimedia processing for multiple devices by dynamically resizing or transcoding images.

Because software carries sensitive data from thousands of users and must perform safely and accurately, managing infrastructure is a responsibility for deploying programs and securing data.
