We asked guests in advance to submit the areas that are most challenging for them when bringing digital therapeutics to life. It was interesting to see the breadth of inputs with similar concerns from startups to large pharma companies. We grouped the challenges into five themes for attendees to take a deeper dive into during the virtual event:

There was great engagement in the theme-based breakouts by leaders from organizations of all sizes. Beyond the earlier takeaways, a particular example brought to light how product development can be challenging, especially in the context of gathering customer requirements and mapping them to stakeholder needs to get to a minimum viable product (MVP). Product development capabilities, processes, and advanced tools can help to coordinate these efforts at a faster pace.

We were thrilled to host this virtual event and hear the purpose and the passion from each of the attendees. Bringing digital therapeutics to life is a multi-disciplinary task requiring coordinated effort with a perpetual customer-centric focus. We can all draw inspiration from the opportunity for digital therapeutics to accelerate improvement in patient care and outcomes. As Anand noted during the event,
