Scottsdale is here. What will 2019 hold for the market?

The time has come. The largest collector car event in the world is a couple of weeks away. Buyers, sellers, collectors, and enthusiasts from across the globe have purchased plane tickets and packed their bags in anticipation of this very important event.

With seven auctions taking place over a week and a half, nearly every single collector car from every hobby segment will be represented. Tens of thousands of people will pour into auction tents to experience the excitement first hand, while millions of others will follow the action on TV or via phone Apps.

Why the extreme focus? Because Scottsdale Auction Week has consistently set the tone for the market in previous years. Is the market up or down? What hobby segments are rising or falling in popularity? Which Year/Make/Models are due for their record-breaking year? It all happens here and will be echoed throughout the remainder of the year in retail sales and other auction events.
