Two Souls

A poem about marriage.

Marriage between two souls.
Two minds that didn't know.
That love and passion often cover up bumps in the road ahead.
And the remedy necessary to move past them.

But to make it last, is bigger than sex.
Bigger than who is bringing home the checks.
It takes understanding that some days,
you will be the only one standing.
It takes a soft answer.
And many many chances.

But most of all it takes two souls.
That are willing to love each other in spite of the unknown.
