Initial Post

When I read Sean Michael Morris’s article, I was surprised by the concept of having to “demand fairer treatment.” This is not something I have been able to practice much at Biola, but I realize now that it will help my professors navigate teaching in this new format as well. Also, hearing the list of risks associated with asking students to move back home and keep doing classes at the same rate they were performing at before Covid-19 was extremely eye-opening (and, frankly, very upsetting). I am incredibly privileged to be in the situation I am — to not have to move out of my home, to have a laptop, to have consistent access to wifi, and so on.

In terms of my prospectus, I think that the research-based nature of my project allows for me to complete it all the same as I originally planned. However, I do think I will need to adjust my timeline (especially considering the past two weeks have been crazy, and research has been on the back burner).
