New iPad pro and Macs to be unveiled on October 30
Apple is holding a new launch event on October 30th in New York. The invitations went out today and featured a cryptic image with the invite.
There’s no doubt that this will be the launch of new products, since iPhones and Apple Watches have already been unveiled, what could it be?
It will be the unveiling of brand new iPads, the 2018 iPad Pro to be more specific. The iPad Pro has been leaked quite a lot over the last few weeks, showing off the brand new design. It will feature very small bezels around the edges, Face ID and there will be no home button.
It’s also been reported that the new iPads will ditch the Lightning cable and go with USB-C connectivity, which is a huge move towards a one wire fits all dream. The iPad Pro will apparently be available in 11-inch and 12.9-inch display sizes.
It’s also been rumoured that the MacBook Air will finally get a successor. It is reported to have slimmer bezels and a high-resolution retina display. The MacBook Air will continue to be Apple’s entry-level laptop.
There’s also talks of a new Mac Mini coming too. There are rumours that it will have a new design with updated internals. It will be aimed towards power users, which will be great for developers and designers alike.
Will there be any surprise announcements? We will have to wait and see. Hopefully, we will get new AirPods or at least an update on the AirPower wireless charger.
